Description

With the new office/outpatient criteria for 2021 being emphasized, it is important to clearly understand the basic principles of hospital coding. CMS has not changed the criteria for hospital coding. This session will focus on documentation criteria necessary to support billing initial hospital services and consultations as well as risk areas for initial and subsequent hospital services. Learn how non-physician providers can provide care for hospitalized patients and lessen the burden on physicians.

All providers that bill for hospital services regardless of their specialty will need to understand hospital coding criteria.

Learning Objectives:-
