Description

This presentation will cover the current status of CBD product regulation and where future regulation is likely headed. FDA’s position on marketed CBD products and claims will be covered as will permitted types of CBD products. The FDA May 2019 meeting on CBD will be reviewed and recent FDA enforcement actions regarding CBD claims will be discussed and advice is given on how to avoid FDA Warning Letters and problems with FDA regarding CBD product marketing. The new USDA regulation on Hemp production will also be discussed.
