Providing and Billing Medicare for Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)
Beginning in 2018, Medicare Part B pays for remote patient monitoring (RPM). With new technologies that can collect and transmit patient data, RPM is a means by which to manage high-cost, high-risk patients, thus avoiding readmissions and emergency room visits. By leveraging this new Medicare reimbursement, providers can expand their capabilities for value-based care.
Martie will provide an overview to help attendees better understand Medicare billing rules for RPM, as well as teach them how to launch an effective and compliant program within their organization.
