Biography:
Chad Larson, Executive Director, Hospital Accreditation Program at The Joint Commission
Chad Larson primarily focuses on building new client and partner relationships and leading strategic initiatives intended to provide value-added services within the hospital accreditation program. In addition, he focuses on creating new business opportunities through marketing and outreach efforts designed to expand market penetration across inpatient hospital-based segments. Larson has worked for The Joint Commission for more than 15 years. Prior to his current role, he served as the Director of Business Operations where he led the administration and management of operational, financial, and planning activities for the organization. He also previously served as the Associate Director of Service Team Operations, where he was responsible for the recruitment, orientation, training, development, and supervision of the account executives responsible for providing ongoing support to customers throughout the accreditation process.
Gail Weinberger, Director, Stakeholder Relations at The Joint Commission
Gail Weinberger has worked at The Joint Commission for more than 30 years, holding a variety of executive-level positions. In her current role, Weinberger is responsible for the management of relationships with key Joint Commission stakeholders, including the Joint Commission’s various advisory groups and the state hospital associations. In her previous role as the Joint Commission’s Director of Accreditation & Certification Policy & Administration, Weinberger was principally responsible for being the liaison with key customer groups and developing and administering policies relative to the accreditation and certification process. In addition, she has played a significant role in administering improvements in the accreditation and certification process through the years. She is also involved in monitoring the changing healthcare landscape and its effect on the Joint Commission’s accreditation and certification process. She has spoken nationally on a wide range of topics relative to the accreditation process and healthcare.
